Does using remote car start cause your battery to die faster?
I drive a 2007 Saturn Aura that has a remote control start. In the past year, I have had to change the battery twice in the remote. Does using the remote start cause your battery to die much faster than just using the remote for locking/unlocking the door? I have had many cars in the past without ever having to replace the battery in the remote. This is the first time I have ever had remote start, and I really use it. I am trying to pinpoint a problem or decide do I just need to anticipate changing the battery every six months or so.
