How much oil do we have in reserves and how long would it last?

Why couldn't we use the oil in our reserve while finding alternatives for oil, also, to lower the usuage of gas, I would be will to go on gas rationing as lone as my husband had enough to get to work. I just wonder how much oil we would say and people stayed home one day a week. As it is now, we can barely afford gas and we are so called middle cl going down quickly to lower gl. You have people like my daughter and brother that barely make enough to live on. They can't afford the gas prices. I think the government could do a lot but they are too crooked and don't want to give up the money everyone is making. We as a nation have stood by far too long on too many issuses., Gas, illegal aliens, child abuse. We can no longer be silent
