Please help with redundancy advise?

I have been entered into a 30 day consultation process at work which may result in redundancy, What do I need to do, Im not a member of a union and do I need to see a criteria of what they will mark against for redundancy, I have been at my co. for less than a year so will receive no money, but I have been told that its not a case of 'last in first out'. Any advise will be great.
