Does anyone remember a children's book series with the charachters of Poppy and Tink?

I think Tink was the name of the girl. she had short red hair. And Poppy was her best friend. i used to read the books when I was in elementary school and I just can't seemto remember the author or the name of the books. HELP!?!?!?!?
