Lip piercings? left or right?

i have been contemplating on whether or not to get my lip pierced. I have now decided that i DO want it done, and will prob get it this week. i dont know whether or not to get it on the left or right. i like most things on the left eg. bracelets, rings etc. but i see heaps of ppl with the right pierced and it looks better. i dont want to copy but i want to know what suits better, left or right. also wheres the best place to get it done, i was thinking hairhouse warehouse. if u have ur lip pierced and u got it there, were there any problems?
