What is the best to buy, PS3, XBox or Wii for family fun?

I am a 60ish young grandad and I am thinking of getting a game thingy for the family for Christmas which one is the best??? The family comprises of Granny, Grandad, Dad & Mam & two Girls, 6 and 3yrs./ old.
