Is my hamster trying to commit suicide?!?

ive had my hamster for quite some time now. at the beginning she was quiet and kept to herself. ahe was a little chubby thing, too. but recently shes been extremely active, and it looks like she got skinnier. but now on to the attempted suicide part: she has a new love for climbing up her cage. its a full wire cage with 1 set of tubes. its got 3 "floors" and a wide space in the middle that goes straight to the bottom. there are ladders, too. but this little rascal loves to climb up the side, hang there for a few seconds, then fall down. ive completely thought that she is tryin to kill herself, but shes been doing this for about 2 months, if not longer. it just scares the crap out of me, cuz i havent the foggiest idea as to why she could be doing this. she is the sweet tame one, compared to my other hamster. she wont bite you, she licks you. so if anyone can possibly help me out, id be forever greatful =D
