I accidentally froze a bottle of champagne. Does anyone know a way to defrost it without ruining the champagne?

You are pretty lucky the bottle did not explode as it would have expanded when it became ice. Let is defrost slowly - my bet is that it may try to uncork itself in which case gather as many friends as you can, give them a gl and pray they can catch some of it! Good Luck - Happy New Year
