First off no one considers Gen. Westmoreland to be a great general.He like Einstein said about insanity keep doing the same thing over and over again.That said it wasn't all his fault that the US lost.It was mainly because we didn't have the to go into Laos until it was too late, not to mention our bombing campaign was run by politicians.
